There are a lot of different ways to get ahead in life with not a lot of effort.
One way is to make money with surveys online by filling out surveys if you are looking for some additional spending money. The best part is that this can be done on your couch or while you are standing in line somewhere like buying groceries for example.
Now, there are TONS of survey sites out there that claim they are the best and pay the highest amounts to complete their surveys. That is not always the case.
Not all survey sites are created equal.

Survey Junkie Review: Legit or Scam?
What is Survey Junkie?
Survey Junkie is an online community with over 3 million members according to their website. Simply put, Survey Junkie is a platform for companies to have access to individuals for consumer and market research.
These companies are looking for consumer input and opinion on products.
This is done through surveys that are sent out to the 3 million members.
Before companies produce a product, a ton of market research has to be done. Companies look at things such as:
Type of household and household income
How people shop
And a whole host of other detailed information
Survey Junkie is the platform that is used to pass the market research surveys from all of these companies to 3 million individuals for their participation.
They offer paid surveys to individuals on a whole range of topics and products.
Their website states that
making a difference pays in more ways than one.
They believe that when their members share their opinion, they also are influencing change.
Additionally, their members get paid for their participation. This can happen in the form of gift cards or actual cash once you have accrued a minimum of $10.00.
Is Survey Junkie a Scam?
Simply put, NO.
It is a legit survey site and you can make money from completing the surveys once you reach your minimum threshold of $10.
I use this site from time to time to earn extra money. There are only a handful of actual survey sites and this is one of those that I would recommend.
Additionally, I have also identified a way to increase my profitability and reduce time spent by a formula I came up with.
Remember, time equals money in the business world. That principle also applies to your personal life. I will cover more about this profitability formula down below.
Is Survey Junkie a Legitimate Site?
Yes. Survey Junkie is safe to use. Rest assured that your information won’t be sold.
There are a lot of survey companies out there that have questionable practices and policies in regards to data.
A lot of companies will sell your data to other companies.
That is not the case with Survey Junkie.
Is There a Survey Junkie Age Limit?
You must be at least 16 years of age to complete surveys online and become a member of the Survey Junkie community. Additionally, you must live in the United States, Australia, or Canada to complete surveys online for money with Survey Junkie.
How Does Survey Junkie Work?
Before you set up your survey junkie account, let me walk you through how it all works.
The first thing I did was set up my Survey Junkie Account. I had to answer a few questions about my life and demographics, confirm my email, and within minutes I had access to the survey interface.
What is cool about Survey Junkie is that unlike some of the other survey sites that roll in other ways to make money (in addition to completing surveys), Survey Junkie is completely 100% surveys.
That makes learning the process super simple.
Once you have verified your email and completed your profile, the survey interface looks like this.
Basically for every 100 points earned you will earn $1.00. Your profile looks like this.
This is what it looks like when you complete a survey.
Survey Junkie Pros
One benefit of Survey Junkie is that it’s extremely easy to use.
Their site is very clean and simple to use with not a lot of items or symbols on the page to distract you.
You can also create a profile and get started in a matter of minutes.
Another advantage is that you can use PayPal to cash out your points.
This is the quickest and easiest way to translate your points into actual cash.
Other survey panel sites only offer gift card options or a physical check. Survey Junkie actually offers PayPal which one of the simplest way to get access to your money.
Unlike some other survey sites, Survey Junkie has a low minimum threshold to cash out. You only have to rack up 1,000 points which is $10. With some customers, this can be done in a month or less.
If you are going to make this a part-time side hustle, it could be done in a matter of hours.
I will tell you about the high-profit strategy I came up with below.
As you can see from my profile above, I have racked these points up in a day. This was all due to a strategy I developed for the surveys I select.
This survey site is completely free to use. You do not need to purchase anything or buy into some type of membership.
You can even get points for answering screening question.
Survey Junkie Cons
There are a couple drawbacks. There is not a mobile app to do the surveys.
They are designed to be done on a laptop or desktop. If you try to do them while browsing on your mobile device, they look a bit odd. Nonetheless, they can be done.
You will get notifications in your email that you qualify for a survey, but often times when you click on the link in the email, the survey is full.
This has happened to me quite often.
A lot of the surveys are sometimes redundant.
Every now and then, after you have answered the screened questions, and depending on your answers, you may not qualify for the survey.
This does happen with other survey sites too, but it’s still disappointing.
If you don’t live in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand, then you can’t join Survey Junkie. Currently, the site only accepts members from these countries, and if you don’t live in one of them, then you can’t participate.
Survey Junkie Hack for Profit
My strategy I came up with is based off of the old saying “time vs. money.” Nobody wants to complete a survey that takes a lot of time only to be paid very little for it. That is not a good use of anyone’s time.
I came up with a survey junkie hack that takes into account how many points each survey is worth based on how long it takes.
In other words, you want to make sure that you are maximizing your time to the highest value possible. You want to make sure that you are completing the surveys worth the highest number of points for as little of your time as possible.
Initially, you should use this strategy to complete the highest value factor surveys first and follow up in descending order from highest to lowest.
My time-value factor I use is 5.
This number is different for everyone because everyone places a different value on their time. For me, that number is 5.
Anything with a time-value factor above 5 I will complete. For time-value factors below 5, I will not complete.
Another strategy I stumbled upon was that if I did not complete a survey, and left the page and came back, new surveys appeared. When I did return to the interface, the surveys were worth higher points. So, this is a hack to think about.
How Much Cash Can You Make with Survey Junkie?
If you follow my system you could make over $500 a month.
Now, don’t get me wrong you have to do A LOT of surveys to get to this level but it can be done if you are looking for a way to make money from your couch. I am going to walk you through the math.
Alright so we know that as a baseline, my time-value factor is no less than 5.
That works out to 300 points per 60 minutes of work. Money-wise this would be about $3.00 per hour. This is a very conservative number because I have seen surveys over 1,100 points offered.
So, based on $3.00 per hour, let’s say for this analysis you complete 6 hours worth of surveys. Remember this is in a 24 hour period.
This would work out to $18 per day and for 31 days…that total would amount to $558.
If you decide to select a higher time-value factor then your numbers will be higher per hour and you will make more or you don’t have to work as many hours a day if you choose.
So is Survey Junkie Legit? Afraid of a Survey Junkie Scam?
If you want to put in the time, Survey Junkie is a legit way to make money online while watching tv from your living room couch.
If you want to make significant money, you will have to do a lot of surveys, but it can be done if you desire. Be sure to follow the strategy of completing the surveys with highest to lowest time-value factor.
And if you are just looking for some extra spending or gas money, starting an account with Survey Junkie is a great choice for that as well. Who does not want to earn money while watching TV!?
